I think my precious baby girl ( first born ) knew from the start that the tiny angel that was joining our family was going to forever change her world.
From the start she required all of our attention and we gave it to her unconditionally.
She did not eat any solid food at all and all she wanted was breast milk.
She never slept, just took cat naps. Our eldest first three years certainly didn't prepare us for this as she slept thru the night from early on.
I confess !!
To get a little sleep we likely made matters worse by bringing her to our bed and sucking her up. Boy, sure wish Super Nanny had been around then ! Sure could of used her advice.
Once she started school, a whole other set of challenges arose.
